What Babelway Customers Actually Say: Best Support and Best Meets Requirements on G2

Two new G2 badges for Summer 2026 confirm what reviewers have told us for almost a decade: they stay for the support, and because the product meets the requirements they actually came in with
This quarter, Babelway earned eight G2 badges for Summer 2026, on top of a 4.7-out-of-5 rating across 36 reviews. Badges aren’t something Babelway applies for or writes ourselves; G2 calculates them from verified reviewer satisfaction scores across the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Software category, so they’re a direct reflection of what customers told G2, not a marketing claim.
Of those eight, this article focuses on two: Best Support and Best Meets Requirements. They point at something specific worth unpacking: it isn’t the interface, the pricing, or any single feature that reviewers bring up most often. It’s the support they get when something needs fixing, and the fact that, whatever their requirement, EDI, Peppol, a specific format, a legacy backend, Babelway generally finds a way to meet it.

What the Best Support badge is actually measuring
G2’s Best Support badge goes to the vendor with the highest “Quality of Support” satisfaction score in a category, based on how reviewers rate the real experience of getting help, not how a vendor describes its own support tier. For Babelway, that shows up review after review, across markets and years.
“The support at Babelway is incredibly responsive and competent, the best I’ve ever seen across all services… The support is the most responsive I have ever seen.”
— Sébastien K., EDI Manager, Mid-Market
“The support team has proven to be knowledgeable and responsive when we needed help with more complex scenarios, which adds real value in a production-critical environment.”
— Wouter B., Operational Excellence & Digital Innovation Director, Mid-Market
What comes up again and again isn’t just speed, it’s that Babelway’s support explains the fix, not just applies it. Olaf D., who has used Babelway for more than ten years, wrote that “the service desk is very responsive and don’t just solve the problem but also explain what you did wrong and how they solved it.” Sam E. described the same pattern from his own team’s experience: “the support on offer is friendly, fast and informative, resolutions are explained in detail which is a great help.”
What the Best Meets Requirements badge is actually measuring
“Meets Requirements” is G2’s measure of whether a product actually does what the buyer needed it to do, not what a demo or a pricing page promised. For an integration platform, that’s a genuinely high bar: every customer arrives with a different mix of formats, protocols, and backend systems, and “close enough” isn’t a workable answer for an EDI or e-invoicing flow. Reviewers described exactly that kind of fit.
“Every requirement we had, there was a solution.”
— Sean C., Founding Partner, Banking, Small-Business
“At each interaction we have, Babelway demonstrates competence, flexibility, reliability and efficiency, making it an outstanding partner!”
— Marc D., CIO, Mid-Market
IT reviewer Bart D. pointed to the practical side of that flexibility: “I can simply ask a customer or supplier: ‘What message format can you give me,’ and implement their format relatively fast, dependent on the complexity of the needed information.” And Wouter B., again, credited the platform’s range, EDI, XML, CSV, and UBL among the formats his team works across, alongside “reusable components such as message types, functions, routing, and lookup tables” that let his team “scale efficiently without unnecessary rework.”
A pattern that holds across nearly a decade of reviews
What stands out about these two badges is how consistent the underlying feedback is over time. Christophe A. called out “customer focus” in a 2017 review. Lionel B. described a service that was “customer-oriented, solution-based, proactive” in 2018. Sébastien K. said almost the identical thing in April 2026. The names, roles, and countries change; the two things reviewers single out most don’t. That consistency is also why Babelway carries a Net Promoter Score of 75 and a 4.7/5 average across 36 verified G2 reviews, alongside the Best Support and Best Meets Requirements recognition this quarter.
Why support and fit matter more here than in most software categories
EDI and e-invoicing aren’t back-office nice-to-haves: when a connection breaks, invoices stop moving and payments stall. And because every trading partner, ERP, and regulatory mandate brings its own format and protocol requirements, EDI software can’t be one-size-fits-all. It only works if the underlying platform is flexible enough to match what a given customer actually needs, and if there’s a knowledgeable team behind it for whatever falls outside the standard path. That combination, fit plus support, is what these two badges, and the reviews behind them, are really describing.
How Babelway backs this up day to day
Babelway pairs a self-service platform, drag-and-drop mapping, 50+ formats, and 10+ protocols including Peppol, AS2, SFTP, and REST APIs, with a support and Professional Services team available from onboarding through complex, production-critical implementations. Customers keep full visibility and control over their own integrations; help is there when they want it, not a requirement to get anything done.
If you are already a Babelway customer
If your team has a support story like the ones above, consider sharing it, reviews like these are what earned the Best Support and Best Meets Requirements badges in the first place. Write a G2 review.
