4.2. Message Search

Search for messages corresponding to specified criteria in the whole messages list. These messages can then be listed or directmy resubmitted.

Clicking on the Message Search command displays the search fields that enables you to search and find messages based on one or more of the search criteria.

Enter search criteria in one or more of following fields to restrict the messages list to all corresponding messages. Do not use wildcards, only enter the string or a part (beginning, middle or end) of the string you are looking for.

Message key

List messages that have this message key.

Channel

List messages processed through this channel.

Dated After

List messages that came in after this date (use date format dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm).

Dated Before

List messages that came in before this date (use date format dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm).

Uploaded By

If Gateway In is a web gateway, lists messages uploaded using this login name. If Getaway In is an email gateway, lists messages sent from this email address.

Gateway In

List messages that came in through this gateway.

Gateway Out

List messages that get out through this gateway.

Bigger Than [B]

List messages that have a size in bytes bigger than entered value.

Smaller Than [B]

List messages that have a size in bytes smaller than entered value.

Error Description

List messages that generated this error message.

Message Reference

List messages that have this message reference or message file name.

Status

List messages that have one of following status: In Progress, Success (waiting ack), Success or Error.

Message Type

List Test messages generated during testing process or Regular messages processed through in and out gateways.

Once you have defined your search criteria, click on the List button to update the messages table that now only displays the found messages, or click on the Resubmit All button to reprocess all found messages as explained in the Resubmit All Messages chapter.
