The list of messages displays all messages processed by Babelway messaging engine. Messages are editable and all information and details are available.
Go to Messages tab in Self Service console to access the messages list and the related functions.
Messages table
The messages start-up screen displays a table listing all received and stored messages. These messages can be ordered by clicking on most column headers for easier retrieval.
Once you have found the message you want to visualize or analyze, click on it to open it and view its information through the Message Record screen.
The messages summary information displayed in this table are:
the message incoming date and time. | |
incoming gateway that received the message. NA means that no gateway was used as this is a test message processed only internally by the messaging engine (see Testing chapter). | |
name of the channel that processed the message. | |
outgoing gateway that sent the message. NA means that no gateway was used as this is a test message processed only internally by the messaging engine (see Testing chapter). | |
size of the incoming message. | |
ncoming file name. | |
the status is the message processing status, it is either In Progress, Success (waiting ack) (when protocol requires an acknowledgement), Success or Error. Acknowledgment is only for testing message and can be either Test successful or Test failed. |
Commands
Use << First Page, < Previous Page, Next Page > and Last Page >> commands to navigate through the list of messages pages.
Use Message Search command to search for a specific message in the complete list.
Click on a message line to access its Message Record and all message details.
