5.2. Alert Details

The alert details lists all generated alert information and allows editing some of them. You can also solve an issue and resubmit a unprocessed message.

From this screen, you have access to all alert details. You also have a quick and easy access to the details of the channel and message that generated this alert. After required changes to these, you can directly resubmit and reprocess the message that has not been processed or that has been processed incorrectly in order to solve the issue and close this alert as described hereafter.

General information

The following information is the same as the one displayed in the list of alerts table. Most of it can modified using the Edit command.

Id

Unique and automatic alert identifier.

Created On

The alert generation date and time.

Type

The type of alert, see Possible Alerts for a complete list and further information.

Status

The alert status, it can be either Open or Closed.

Severity

The seriousness of the issue, it can be High, Medium, Low or Info.

Summary

A short description of the issue.

Description

An additional description of the issue.

Commands

Click on Back command to go back to previous menu.

Click on Edit command to go to the Alert Edit screen and change or update some of the alert information.

Click on following subtitle to expand corresponding additional information part.

Message Records

Lists message records linked to the alert.

Click on Resubmit to process again this message throught its channel. See Resubmitting a Message chapter for more details.

Attachments

List files that have been attached to this alert. To add a new attachment, select it using the Browse button and the Upload command. To remove an existing attachment, click on its Delete command and to access it, click on its Download command.

User Roles

You can attribute an Assignee or a Watcher role to any of the available Users. Select the role and the user then click on Create command. On the contrary, if you want to remove a role, click on its Delete command.

Alert Associations

Click on any of the channels and message records associated to the alert to directly access, review and change their setup.
