3.6. Copying Items from an URL

Copy items from the public catalogue or from an URL sent by another User.

There are many ways to copy an Item in one of your channels:

From the public catalogue, by clicking the copy button.
From an email send by another user, by clicking the included link.
In the Babelway forum, by clicking the reference to a shared Item.

When you start one of these actions, the Create a copy Wizard will try to guess the item's destination. If it doesn't have enough information it will display a selection screen asking which environment and/or Channel to use.

Copy in

The Destination Environment and Channel where the Item will be copied. A new Environment or a new Channel can also be selected.

if there is only one Environment, the selection drop down is not displayed.
if the imported item is a Channel, only the account environment must be selected.
