We founded Babelway in 2007. Our goal was to simplify the automation of data exchange between business partners. It remains so today.
Before Babelway, we had already accumulated many years of experience in the creation of electronic data exchanges between partner companies. So we thoroughly understand the benefits that machine-to-machine communication can bring to business performance. Cost savings. Improvements in quality and speed. Stronger partner relationships. We also understand what customers want. A totally reliable system that's easy to get & easy to maintain. It's got to be quickly deployable to ANY PARTNER whatever their particular requirements may be. The customer must have full and sole CONTROL. And it's got to be affordable. Naturally.
We realised just how unhappy customers were with existing solutions. Keeping control of document exchanges is not a piece of cake. So many balls to juggle at once, from clarifying and agreeing exchange specifications across partners to managing infrastructure, exceptions and change requests. Enough to give anyone a headache. And this, despite the multiplication of software solution, data standards or data integration providers. There wasn't a solution at hand that could meet both 'quickly deployable' and 'full and sole control' expectations AT THE SAME TIME.
So we rolled up our sleeves and got down to business. We wanted to create an Internet platform that would provide all the functionalities of a local integration and translation software. Except that you wouldn't have to acquire, install, run and maintain yet another piece of software. We also wanted to create an Internet platform that would benefit from the work of all its users. Without repeating similar data integration efforts. But helping customers to jump start configuration work if someone else had already dipped their toes.
Our solution simplifies the whole process of B2B data integration right across the board. From collecting specifications to controlling systems, issues and maintaining data exchange flows. For faster, functional and flexible data exchange capabilities.
We believe the world would be a better place if data flowed fluidly between companies. For us this is a work domain in its own right. All too often, add-on's are plugged into the existing IT environment that create more costs than they avoid. Automated data exchange is our only focus and chosen field of activity. We don't do anything else. Because of this we are keen to generate partnerships with complementary experts. We're just one piece of the jigsaw. We are the glue between applications, a tool for process experts and a godsend for administrative staff.
