GS1 Belgium and Luxembourg is the local representative of GS1, the global organization dedicated to the design and implementation of global standards and solutions to improve the efficiency and visibility of supply and demand chains globally and across sectors. As promoter of electronic exchanges between business partners, GS1 decided to adopt electronic invoicing for the billing of its own services to its thousands of members.

Babelway is very proud to have been selected by GS1. We worked together to implement a solution that combines PDF and EDIFACT invoices. GS1 members receive a signed PDF invoice (compliant with EU directives 2010/45/EU) that embeds an EDIFACT invoice based on the specifications of GS1 Belgilux IDEAL INVOIC). Customers can also elect to only receive the EDIFACT invoice.

In January 2012, GS1 launched the "Go Paperless" campaign to promote this new invoicing method to its members. Go Paperless in NL. Go Paperless in FR.

CORA operates 7 supermarkets and hypermarkets in Belgium. CORA is part of the Louis Delhaize group together with Match, Profi, Délitraiteur and several other brands. The consolidated turnover of the group is around €10 billion.

CORA chose Babelway to migrate X400 and AS2 EDI exchanges with over 80 suppliers. Exchanges include orders and dispatch advices and cover their Belgian activities. CORA decided this migration to simplify their internal EDI infrastructure. It enables CORA to decommission some old and high-maintenance systems.

CORA has all necessary online accesses to their Babelway account to control EDI operations. In this project, Babelway provides connection services and ensures migration happens smoothly.

BABELWAY made an agreement with a Fortune1000 company active in the automotive industry. The company will transfer all B2B connections currently running on a combination of AXWAY and BIZTALK to the SaaS B2B Integration solution of BABELWAY. This covers 2.500 B2B flows with around 750 customers and suppliers. Following the transfer the company intends to expand B2B integration to new partners and new processes, with a focus on electronic invoicing.

This is probably the largest commitment to-date to a pure cloud-based multi-tenant solution for B2B integration. It certainly confirms that the cloud delivers more flexible and scalable IT solutions and brings agility throughout the organisation.

The company expects a return on investment of 83% over the next 3 years and a very fast payback period, bringing tangible benefits in support of the vision.

Leader in foodservice distribution, the sole mission of DELI XL is to help its customers to provide healthy and fresh meals to their guests ! DELI XL focuses on catering professionals and is part of the Bidvest group. The company has over 18.000 product references, distributed by 100 refrigerated trucks from 2 warehouses (37.000 m2).

DELI XL had decided to integrate with many new partners. They therefore reviewed their EDI operations and compared several market offerings. BABELWAY SaaS solution offered the best combination in terms of flexibility, control and overall cost of ownership.

Ecu-Line has recently sent its first electronic invoices, using Babelway (that they already used for ANSI X12 - XML translation). The project, started from Belgium, aims at drastically reducing the thousands of paper invoices sent every month around the world.

Royal Canin selected Babelway to integrate their ordering process with some of their key customers such as Aveve and Verdifarm. Orders are automatically captured by their ERP application (Axapta from Microsoft)

Syncada contracted with Babelway to integrate the EDIFACT capabilities into their electronic invoice processing facilities for large corporates.
